Each year the Ada County Sheriff deputies and public safety employees partner to assist less fortunate youth in Ada County and surrounding communities during the Back to School and Holiday Season.

Children and families will be carefully selected and screened by a committee of local law enforcement officers to reach those most in need. Each child will be paired with a uniformed deputy and go through the store and check off the items they need. Approximately $200 will be spent on each child. Our goal is to sponsor as many children as possible through the support of donations from our citizens and businesses here in
Ada County.

This event is a wonderful opportunity for deputies and kids to interact and break down the barriers that often exist; building a better, more trusting relationship between children and law enforcement.
