Confrontation with man walking on I-84 early Monday ends with a deputy badly injured and the man deceased
By now, many of you may have heard how one of our deputies was seriously injured during a violent confrontation on I-84 early this morning.(For more info on what happened, check out https://bit.ly/3KNSkhZ )
We wanted to let you know our deputy has made it through a series of surgeries today and is looking at a long recovery road ahead.
While it looks like his injuries aren’t life threatening, we know there is a very good chance they could be life changing.
Who knows what the future will bring?
Since the news broke, we’ve been getting calls, texts, and emails from people asking how they can help.
To that end, the Ada County Sheriff Employees’ Association has set up a fund at the Idaho Central Credit Union.
Anyone who wants to donate can do so at ICCU ACSEA Account #737631173.
People can make donations by mail if they want to send a check to:
The Ada County Sheriff Employees’ Association
PO Box 45009

Donations can also be made via Venmo- @ACSEA.
We want to make sure if people do want help our deputy and his family that every dollar goes to where it will do the most good.
It means so much to us to know people in our community feel deeply about the sacrifice local law enforcement make and want to help. Thank you.
